Survey launched by the EOSC Beyond project in June 2026 to gather feedback on its concept paper "EOSC Federation Technical Architecture: Evolution of Federating Capabilities and Federation Models". Deadline: 31 July 2026
To refine and improve the new EOSC Beyond concept paper, we are launching this survey to gather valuable feedback from the community. The survey will remain open until 31 July 2026, and an updated version of the document will be shared by Q1 2027. We encourage researchers, service providers, and stakeholders to participate and help shape the future of our work. Your input is crucial to ensuring that the EOSC Beyond project meets the needs of the community.
In the paper, EOSC Beyond has identified four evolutionary tracks for the EOSC Federation architecture:
- More federating capabilities
- Actionability of the federating capabilities
- Reduce dependency on central components
- From one to more Federators - A distributed Hub-based architecture
